Cait Sith crochet pattern

 
My dad is a massive final fantasy fan.  This summer he plans on getting the DLC for FFXVI this summer.  His favorite guy is Cait Sith! (mostly because my dads just a huge fan of cats in general lol). for fathers day I made this guy for him! i hope you guys can get some enjoyment out of the fella too :]

Materials


4.00 mm hook, or hook size for yarn
Yarn in Black, White, Brown, and Yellow

Assembly

in the mouth attach a safety nose if you have one, otherwise embroider
first sew the mouth and ears to the head, after attaching the mouth sew a line directly from the nose down in order to make a ":3" mouth 
                             
sew the crown onto the head, align it with round 3 of the head for best look

sew the head to the body, dont worry too much about lining up the colors of the face and body as they will be covered

Attach the legs so theyre jointed (heres a tutorial if you havent done it before)

Embroider the eyes in black, preferably using a different texture of yarn, making curves right over the mouth about 5 stitches long

with red felt or fabric cut out a cape shape. If youd like you can follow the guide lines ive made below, cut out a rectangle the length of your cait with 1 end curved, then cut out the areas in white to create the neck and tie

tie the cape around the neck

Now youre done! congratulations you have finished your little guy!
